Data analyst

Job Specification

You will work closely with our data engineers and clients to create fast, efficient, and scalable data intelligence solutions for the world’s leading organizations and enterprises. You will collaborate with our project managers and guide our junior team members. At the same time, you will receive mentorship from our senior people and work with our business partners on their data-intelligence challenges.

  • Work with our stakeholders to identify requirements, define models, and kickstart new analytics initiatives.
  • Build data models with SQL and automate them with Python. Have deep knowledge of all the datasets inside the data lake to be able to provide guidance to stakeholders.
  • Apply the correct data models to the business problem at hand.
  • Leverage creative solutions, analytics and visualization/ reporting techniques to enhance knowledge and drive actionable insights that deliver ROI.

Roles & Responsibility

As a data analyst, we expect you to demonstrate existing proficiency in data analysis and keen interest in understanding various business domains. We will also need you to be able to communicate data concepts to non-technical colleagues.

  • You are fluent in English both orally and in writing.
  • You have good presentation skills.
  • You can communicate well within the team and with stakeholders.
  • You can analyze business requirements in dialogue with internal stakeholders.
  • You can collaborate directly with external consultants and vendors.
  • You are a team player willing to share knowledge, ideas and banter.
  • SQL required
  • Basics of any programming language like Python, R or VBA
  • Power BI or other dashboarding software
